The Common Table
The Star - Frisco, Texas
2018

For their second location, The Common Table at The Star carries the same vibe of their Uptown location up north to Frisco. Their signature “British phone booth red” accents custom steel windows defining the entry, the common table, and host stand from the main dining room. Memorabilia, combining artifacts of personal interest with actual personal collections, adorns the main feature wall. The campy private dining room depicting a mountainous meadow scene is reminiscent of those fun motor lodges of the Poconos Mountains in Pennsylvania or those sprinkled along the original Route 66. The 5,000+ SF restaurant provides a wide variety of seating options and experiences. The custom bar tap, again in the signature red paint, combines views of their specialty beer selection into the cooler, surrounded by a custom liquor display up to the ceiling. Be sure to check out the portraits of musical artists, hand-selected by the owner, as you proceed down the corridor toward the kitchen. The massive exterior patio also provides numerous seating options - before, during or after the big game.
